Moin from Germany

Hello everyone,

I am sorry for writing in english, but my french lessons were many years ago and I'd like to have a little bit more in my introduction, then just: "I am from Germany and draw things".

So, as I said I'm a german childrens book illustrator and focus animals in my pictures. Because I love snails, I made an own book about my leopard slug Fiene and also a Snail Themed Memory Card Game. Next to drawing, my hobbies are playing games, going out and reading books.

I searched for a forum about Childrens Books, but couldn't find a good one, until I saw this. French isn't a problem, I can read it, but "talking/writing"it is hard, because you have to say things in your own words and need to find the correct formulation. But I wil try it

I guess it is easier to publish in Germany, because you can do it on your own wth self-publishing.

selfpublishing also exists in France (amazon with realbooks or e-books)etc here but doesn't pay a lot

I know the german self-publishing platform "BoD" but I never used it... I want to know more about selfpublishing in Germany.
